CHAPEL SERVICES The Shreveport-Bossier Rescue Mission is a Christian-based organization. Although we don't force or impose religious beliefs on anyone, we welcome the opportunity to minister to the spiritual and emotional needs of everyone who enters our doors. To that end, we offer evening chapel services at both the Texas Street and McNeil Street sites for anyone who wishes to attend. The Rescue Mission conducts one chapel service per day Monday through Saturday and two services on Sunday. Each service lasts approximately one hour and consists of praise and worship, collective prayer and an inspirational message. If you or your church would like to participate in or lead a chapel service, contact Evangelism Director, Jim Brackman at (318) 629-8487.
PROGRAMS DISCIPLESHIP TRAINING PROGRAM MISSION STATEMENT ABOUT Each participant resides on-site and receives one-on-one counseling, small group sessions, work therapy opportunities and daily devotions. Participants are taught the basics of Christianity and attend classes that address specific needs such as ager management, basic living and parenting skills, knowing God’s will and soul restoration. Our purpose is to equip each participant with fundamental skills they can use for a lifetime.
