For I was hungry, and you gave Me something to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave Me something to drink I was a stranger, and you invited Me in. --Matthew 25:35

Rescue Mission Receives United Way funds
Monday, October 27, 2008
The Shreveport-Bossier Rescue Mission is the grateful recipient of funds from the United Way for four strategic grants.
"Got Milk?" helps provide milk for the Mission's youngest clients, and "Rollin' Toward Success" provides passes on public transportation for clients to attend classes or interview for jobs. Funds for the Rescue Mission free medical/dental clinic are also provided, as well as domestic violence counseling.
If your business has a United Way campaign, you can designate your funds to go toward any United Way agency, including the Shreveport-Bossier Rescue Mission. Thank you for considering the homeless as a recipient of your hard-earned dollars.
