For I was hungry, and you gave Me something to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave Me something to drink I was a stranger, and you invited Me in. --Matthew 25:35

Thank You to all our Holiday Volunteers
Monday, January 05, 2009
Numerous churches, organizations, businesses and individuals supported the Rescue Mission generously during the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays.
From the residents and staff, THANK YOU!
The homeless often feel that others have forgotten them, and that their needs are unimportant. Our caring volunteers helped alleviate the holiday blues for our residents.
Thank you for the monetary donations, turkeys, canned goods, clothing, toys, Christmas gifts, hygiene products, and so much more. Thank you for working in the kitchen, serving meals, filling stockings for the children, and much, much more.
God sees the generous hearts of those who give to those who cannot return the good deed and the Bible says He will then take care of your needs when times of trouble come. What a wonderful promise!
From all of us here at the Rescue Mission, may God bless you with health and prosperity in the New Year!
